about me.
I created Mother Flower when working with Permaculture and learning about medicinal plants. I first created the Dandelion Salve which we picked up the flowers from our village house in Bulgaria.
Eventually I was looking for a natural sunscreen for my oldest son who was born with a condition on his face called Facial Infiltrating Lipomatosis, which makes him sensible to the sun. Since I couldn't find a natural sunscreen in my native island, Puerto Rico, I decided to make one for the family.
I want Mother Flower natural sunscreen accessible to others. Mother Flower is also my way of expressing the lessons learned and the joy of working with plants and their medicinal powers and magic.
Some of the flowers for the salves are handpicked by us in the rich soil of Bulgaria. The elaborated process is made and handcrafted in Santurce, Puerto Rico
