about me.
I founded Mother Flower during my journey in Permaculture and while exploring the world of medicinal plants. It all began with creating Dandelion Salve, using flowers we gathered from our family house in Bulgaria.

My quest for a natural sunscreen arose when my eldest son was born with Facial Infiltrating Lipomatosis, a condition that makes his skin particularly sensitive to sunlight. Unable to find a suitable natural sunscreen on my native island of Puerto Rico, I decided to craft one for our family.

I aim to make Mother Flower natural sunscreen accessible to everyone. Mother Flower represents not just my creations but also the lessons I've learned and the joy I've found in working with plants and harnessing their medicinal properties.
Many of the flowers used in our salves are handpicked from the fertile soil of Bulgaria. The handcrafted products are meticulously made in Santurce, Puerto Rico.

I invite you to join me on this exciting lifelong journey of learning, experimenting, and discovering the wonders that plants and flowers offer us!
Thank you for your support, and I hope to provide you with doses of health and joy.

Why choose a sunscreen that is
Reef friendly?
Scientific studies has proven that the toxic ingredients in commercial brand sunscreens are damaging the coral reefs. Ingredients like Oxybenzone, Abovenzone, Octinoxate and fragrances has been linked to the bleaching of the reefs, making them loose vitality and life. You can help protect them by using a sunscreen that uses only natural ingredients in a recyclable and reusable container. Be part of the change. Keep it natural, keep it local, keep it Mother Flower!
